Panda Habitat Project

One last project before school let out for the summer. A creature feature, she had to pick a mammal and do a project and write a report. This was the outcome. The bamboo forest, with a Giant Panda. We are very proud of her she received a 100% on both the dia-rama and the oral report. Good Job Gracie!

You Might Be a Redneck if.......

I like to tease Joe, he is always coming up with new reasons to use his leaf blower. You might be a redneck if you use your leaf blower to dry off a water slide, or You might be a redneck if you use your leaf blower to blow up an air mattress. Both things have been done by my wonderful husband.

Got Gel???

Just one of the many things Austin has done. He is sooooo darn ornery. You just gotta love him. This was his attempt at gelling, and spiking (hope i spelled those right) his hair. This picture doesn't do it justice, I wish you could have seen him in person.

Austin's 4th Birthday Party

Austin wanted a party with his friends this year so we gathered a couple kids from the addition we live in and had a Scooby Doo birthday party. They solved the mystery of the missing scooby snacks and played on the inflatable slide. The slide is a birthday present to both Gracie and Austin from Daddy and Mommy.

1st Family Fishing Trip

The Shriners here in Indiana have an annual fishing tournament every year for the families. We went this year for the first time. This was Joe and Gracie's first time fishing. We caught 9 fish total in about 2 hours, the longest fish was probably only 6 inches. Gracie didn't want to go or be there because she thought it would be boring. However, we could not get her to leave when it was time.

Austin's First Build a Bear

Aunt Shell took Austin to build a bear for his birthday. She has taken Gracie for the last 3 years and this year was Austin's turn. We went out to lunch at Bandidos. (we had to bribe Austin to go to Bandidos by bringing him cupcakes, after all whose b-day is it anyway.) Austin loves Scruffy!
