Kylie, Gracie, Myka, Leah, Austin, Zac Joe's sister Jenna was able to come up for a visit with her 3 beautiful kiddos. We had such a good time together. These are just a couple of photos because my camera broke.
I decided to seperate Gracie's friends this year so we had 2 slumber parties. We had one for school friends and one for friends from her previous school and neighborhood friends. It worked out quite well. I let Gracie and her friends take my camera for the evenings so they took pics like crazy. Between both nights they took over 140 pictures. I have posted just a few from both evenings. The first party was for school friends, I dont know these girls as well so this party was a little stressful. They decorated bags as their craft, had blind make overs, played on the water slide, ate pizza and had cheesecake for dessert. The second party was for girls I know pretty well so we all had a very relaxed, fun, giggling time. They colored their hair with hair glitter, danced outside, played freeze dance (which they all LOVED to do), made hot pads on weaving looms, polished nails, made bracelets, watched a movie, had pizza, and birthday cake. We had lots of fun, and I overheard Gracie telling her Aunt Shell that, that was the best party she has ever had in her life.
No pics, just an update. I have officially been released from physical therapy. YEAH!!! That does not mean my stretching routine is over it just means I can do it at home now, and I wont charge myself. : ) The ankle is still painful when I walk, I am trying to walk normal, without a limp. I still can not go up and down stairs normal, I think some of that is mental since that is how I sprained and fractured it in the first place. I will never look at stairs the same way again. I am very thankful to be back on my feet again. I want to once again say a BIG, HUGE, Thank You to all my family and friends who helped out during this time.
This year we went to Garrett to watch the fireworks. We went with my best friend and her family. The kids played in the back of the truck till the rain stopped. We had a good time, next year maybe we will tailgate. : )
Gracie wanted a manicure and pedicure as part of her birthday present from dad and mom. Gracie and I went and had one together. It was alot of fun. First pic is of Gracie so excited to be getting a pedicure, next of the great massage she got.
Gracie picked out florescent pink for her toes. The forth pic shows how relaxed Gracie was after her massage. I wish my massage was as good as the one she had. I have waited a long time to be able to do this with her. I really enjoyed the couple hours I had alone with my baby girl.
We celebrated Gracie's birthday at Bandidos with Nanny and Papa Keller, Uncle Nate, Aunt Julie, Kylie and of course Austin, Dad, and Mom. We also invited one of Gracie's friends Samantha. Here are a few pics of the evening. We will be having 3 more party's for her, one with my family and 2 for friends.
