Austin's 4th Birthday Party

Austin wanted a party with his friends this year so we gathered a couple kids from the addition we live in and had a Scooby Doo birthday party. They solved the mystery of the missing scooby snacks and played on the inflatable slide. The slide is a birthday present to both Gracie and Austin from Daddy and Mommy.

1st Family Fishing Trip

The Shriners here in Indiana have an annual fishing tournament every year for the families. We went this year for the first time. This was Joe and Gracie's first time fishing. We caught 9 fish total in about 2 hours, the longest fish was probably only 6 inches. Gracie didn't want to go or be there because she thought it would be boring. However, we could not get her to leave when it was time.

Austin's First Build a Bear

Aunt Shell took Austin to build a bear for his birthday. She has taken Gracie for the last 3 years and this year was Austin's turn. We went out to lunch at Bandidos. (we had to bribe Austin to go to Bandidos by bringing him cupcakes, after all whose b-day is it anyway.) Austin loves Scruffy!

Roderick

Roderick is such a cutie. I was watching him one morning for Annette and he crawled into Cinnamon's cage. It is fun to watch him and Cinnamon. Even though she is bigger then him, he bosses her around and she listens. He will go and grab her ball and she will see it and come up to him to get it, he will let out this scream like saying "its mine" and she will walk away. Cracks me up!

Father/Daughter Dance

Gracie's Girl Scout troop had a Father/ Daughter Dance with the theme of the Oscars. They had a red carpet for them to walk down and they all got trophies, and their pictures taken in directors chairs. They were to wear their prettiest dress. I shopped for this dress and when Gracie saw it she said "it was just what I was dreaming of". Good job MOM!

Easter 2008

Easter morning, what fun, Gracie's favorite Hannah Montana makes her appearance again. She has a beach towel and a concert stage for her barbie's.

Austin has found a new hobbie in painting, and is sporting his new apron he wears in the kitchen when helping mommy cook. He always asks, "what is in our recipe today" I love it.

Little Owen

Gracie holding her new cousin. Annette's newest baby Owen, he is 8 days old. I think she will be a good little baby sitter one day.
