Gracie's first day with PINK braces (cant really see the color in this pic)Two weeks ago Gracie had to have 2 teeth pulled (first upper bicuspids) to make way for 2 other teeth that she lost 3 years ago and have never came in. She was so good at the oral surgeon, she did not appreciate the shot in the roof of her mouth but never complained a bit after it was over. Dad (Joe) says she did better then I did 2 years ago when I had my wisdom teeth removed. The next day after the teeth were removed those other 2 teeth started to show through. Amazing how quickly that takes place. She has since healed from the tooth extractions and went today and had braces put on. She did good, we picked her up from school and it took about 40 min. and she went right back to school. She says they are poking her a bit, but they said her cheeks and lips should toughen up over time. I am so excited for her. If everything goes as planned she should only have to wear them for 18 months.

She looks cute with braces. I agree, I wasn't so brave when I had my wisdom teeth removed a few years ago either...way to go Gracie!
BTW, how is that ankle doing?
