Cinnamon

Just a new picture of our pup. She is now officially trained to stay in the yard. Joe and I about 2 months ago put in an inground fence. With the month of training required she now stays in the yard. She was shocked twice during training, we couldnt handle the thought of shocking our dog on purpose so we took the metal stems out of the collar and stuck the plastic ones back on and she has no idea. She just thinks that when she hears the beep she will soon be shocked if she goes any further so she sits. I will let her out when Gracie goes to the bus stop and she will just sit and watch her get on the bus. Even when other dogs or people go by she stays in the yard. Yea!!!
Now if anyone knows how to get her to not jump on people or dig in my yard, please let me know. : )

That is very cool, how fun to have the pup watch her get on the bus!
As far as jumping on people I suggest a palm into his nose when he jumps (like a stiff arm) or a knee in the chest (lightly, just to redirect him). We did these with Doc when he was little and he does not jump on people. The only catch is that the only person that can do it is the one getting jumped on and my guess is that the kids and company will be hesitant....
As far as digging when you find out let me know :-)
